1. By entering this site, you are saying that you are at least 16 years old when registering for a chat account. If it comes to our attention that a user is less than 16 years old, that account will be deleted. If you are under the age of 16, please sign for an account at one of the teen chat sites listed on our Links page.

2. It is the user's responsibility to read the TOS often in order to keep updated on any changes.

3. We would like to make this chat a pleasant experience for everyone, so please refrain from using offensive language or offensive user names. We are all equal in God's eyes and in the chat room. In order to maintain an atmosphere of equality, please do not use titles such as Reverend, Doctor, Pastor, etc. in your user name. Any user name containing the word "servant" or "_sv" with a number will be deleted. User names that in any way infer that the user is a Servant (employee of this site) are prohibited.

4. Please refrain from attacking or making any type of threats to another chatter for any reason including race, gender, religious beliefs, or sexual preferences.

5. When quoting or copying material that is owned by another person or group other than yourself into the room, be sure to post the source also to avoid breaking any copyright laws.

6. Breaking the TOS will result in time disallowed at the site. The amount of time will be decided by the Servants of this site based on the degree of the offense or whether or not it is a repeated offense.

7. Discussions of a personal or private nature need to be taken to PM (private message). Please keep in mind that all conversations are recorded.

8. We ask that you refrain from pushing Christianity on other chatters who may not be ready to accept it or ask to be excused from that type of discussion. This will only turn them away from being willing to hear and follow what we hold to be the truth.

9. The main room is primarily used to enter the site, greet those entering, and light conversation. Please feel free to use the other rooms as they are listed for more specific topics.

10. Please refrain from flooding the page with too much text in one post. If you have a large post, please break it up into several smaller posts so as not to disturb the normal flow of chat.

11. Please be honest with your registration information or it may result in time disallowed at the site.

12. Please refrain from posting material that is knowingly false, defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of privacy, or that violates any law.

13. If a person has a different viewpoint on a subject, please do not resort to attacking that person's character or motives. Mutual respect for all chatters is appreciated.

14. Although we realize that some debates can become heated, please use courtesy and manners at all times while using this site. If a person is involved in a debate and asks to be excused from it, please do so immediately and in a kindly manner.

15. This is primarily a Christian site, but we welcome all people, whether Christian or non-Christian. Please, always remember to be courteous and refrain from asking questions such as "Why are you here" or similar questions or remarks. It is their right to be here, just as it is your right.

16. We are not to determine the status of someone else's salvation. If a fellow Christian has a different belief or doctrine, please do not start judging if they are saved or not. That is not our job to make that determination.

17. We do not condone any money making schemes or other illegal activity, including cyber-sex.

18. The Servants of this site are volunteers. We ask that you make their job here as pleasant and simple as possible by following the rules of this site. Your full co-operation is greatly appreciated. If you have a problem or a disagreement with a Servant, you are asked to send an e-mail to this link and file a report. This matter will be addressed at our earliest possible convenience and you will be notified of the results.

19. It is not possible to verify if anyone has a medical license or is qualified to give medical advice. It is advisable that you follow the medical directions given only by your physician. Accepting or following medical advice offered through this site or its chatters is done so at your own risk.

20. Please do not post links in the chat room before asking permission from one of the Servants. Most links will be allowed, but only at the discretion of a Servant. Links to advertise your business or another chat/forum site are unacceptable.

21. Posting of another chatter's personal, identifiable information within the chat room or PM is prohibited. This includes a person's real name, address (street or email), phone number, etc. Any member breaking this rule will be immediately banned. Servant Chat is not responsible for any event that may occur if a member chooses to post their own information within the chat room or PM.

22. We reserve the right to boot and/or ban any chatter, at any time, at our own discretion. This rule will not be used unless we see a serious problem that wasn't addressed in rules 1-19. This is simply a precautionary measure for unforeseen problems that may arise.
